18th July 2018
Dr Hakim Yadi CEO of the Northern Health Science Alliance quote on NIHR clinical trials league tables released today
Dr Yadi said: “Once again the NIHR league tables demonstrate the excellence of health research in the North of England as our research intensive NHS trusts continue to dominate in clinical trials
“Congratulations in particular go to Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust who have topped the country’s best performing trust for volume of clinical research for the seventh year running.
“But across the North both larger and smaller NHS trusts have recruited more participants and set up more trials improving patient outcomes through investing in research.”
