Open letter calls for local public health investment
NHSA supports call for investment in local public health at the Spending Review

The Northern Health Science Alliance has joined more than 50 other leading health organisations calling for investment in local public health at the Spending Review.
The letter, published by the Association of Directors of Public Health, calls for urgent action on public health funding following years of local public health budget cuts. It cites new analysis from the Health Foundation calling for an extra £1.4bn per year by 2024/25 to be provided for local public health budgets in the Spending Review.
